Who This is For
This is at a minimum for anyone who did not learn about tools very much or at all growing up and are on their own and want or need to use tools. You may have just moved to your first apartment or house and would like to be able to maintain and fix things on your own.
What are Tools
Tools are objects we use to improve our ability to work or make work possible. Knowing when to use them and which tools to use can prevent frustration, wasted time and money. The most important things to know about tools are whether you need them, where to get them, how to determine if what you are getting is the correct tool, and how to be safe while using them. These following pages will help you come to understand the basics of where to start along with lessons on how to learn on your own, in the use of and appraisal of tools.
