Masculinity (also called manhood or manliness) is a set of attributes, behaviors, and roles associated with men and boys. (Wikipedia) More specifics are often quite contentious. However I’d like to outline some thoughts and provide some resources for it to perhaps help folks that are interested.

Masculinity can be seen from the natural or artificial points of view. All of the artificial or social constructions seem to emerge to some degree from the natural. So let’s start with the natural and then we can apply it to society afterwards.
